"Of the Spirit – For the Soul" — An Art & Intuition Retreat for Women
Thursday- Sunday, October 5-8, 2017
It’s that time again– preparing for our 19th annual October Art & Intuition Retreat for Women!
Like last year, I’ve opened and asked to be completely guided in facilitating this retreat. This year we are going even wider for what ever is needed, I mean, what a lofty title!
Here’s how I was finally able to hear it. Recently a conversation with a friend about her incredible experience at an Italian restaurant spoke the title for this year’s retreat. “Delle Anima”, was where she ate and the owner explained to her, “in Italian it means ‘of the Spirit’.” I immediately felt struck inside. I told her, “I don’t know why but that’s the name of the retreat this year.”
I did a bit of research and found it also means, “for the Soul.” The Anima has many Jungian meanings, but the quality used here is a more ancient meaning. It is the feminine connection of receiving Spirit inside as if on a breeze… literally to have life force blown into us from the Source of Life. So we will be exploring space for our deeper knowing to be breathed into life in us and see what emerges.
This is such a mysterious topic that words are not adequate or useful for a description… Your intuition will let you know if this retreat is right for you…
About Women’s Retreats with Jennifer
Jennifer believes that making art, creating space and having time (several days) with a group of great women is the fastest way to develop intuition. “It’s hard to call these retreats ‘work’-shops because they are so much fun. The women enjoy, encourage and remind each other of changes and life improvements made; some from the day before, some from the year before. It’s amazingly transformative.” Every retreat has several ‘art’ projects; making art is powerful as it can be a mirror of our inner self. It reveals things that we have hidden deep inside. Aristotle believed that the soul spoke with images. Creating something with intent invokes the soul and gives it voice.
All techniques we use are simple, practical and accessible. Most weave seamlessly into what we do every day – to use anytime, anywhere and for any reason. Everyday connection to Source wisdom CAN be more tangible and FUN!
Art is a way to discover things about ourselves while having fun. Art projects are easy, allow for unique expression and you don’t have to like making art to get the most out of the process. Every year the art project is a secret. This adds to the fun and mystery of the process, while helping release expectation. Expectation dampens our intuitive process.
Art & Intuition retreats are relaxing, fun and totally trans-formative. In the evenings there is in-depth channeling that gives us each a chance to experience the topic through The Celt & The Lady. All day we get to hang out, laugh and share with incredible women in a beautiful location with a small lake, many trees and flowering plants with access to the river, trails and quiet places. This workshop fills quickly and your registration with payment is the only way to reserve your spot; space is limited.

The workshop starts after dinner on Thursday, October 5 (you can start arriving at 3pm to check-in dinner is included) and ends after lunch on Sunday, October 8, 2017. I suggest you check in at 3 and enjoy the trails and/or get settled in for some quiet time.
